Local favorite DJ Shay is bringing her dance party to the main stage on Friday, May 8. Numerous local and regional acts will take the Courthouse Lawn stage all weekend long! We’re cooking up a new experience for crafters in 2026! Introducing the Artisan Craft Expo at BBQ & Barrels, May 8-9 at the Owensboro Convention Center. From the creators of Kraftucky, the largest craft show in our area, the Artisan Craft Expo will feature a wide selection of handcrafted items and custom food vendors, all conveniently located inside the first-floor exhibit halls of the Owensboro Convention Center.
The expo is FREE to attend!

BBQ 5K
Join the Owensboro Family YMCA for their annual fundraiser fun run. Work up a sweat, burn some calories, and build up an appetite for some delicious barbecue. Proceeds benefit the scholarship programs at the YMCA. Registration information coming soon!
Carnival
Fun for the whole family! Check out all the rides, games, and concessions the carnival offers. The carnival will take place on 2nd Street, just east of the big blue bridge. Tickets will be available for purchase onsite.
